Carl Anderson is the Director of Data Science at Warby Parker. His role encompasses heading up data engineering, supporting over 20 analysts (such as with training and providing business intelligence tools), true data science (machine learning, recommendation engines etc.), and creating a data-driven organization.

Carl has previously been data scientist at One Kings Lane and prior to that worked in a variety of companies working mostly with scientific data but he has also dabbled in robotics, data compression, lots of simulation modeling. Carl has a PhD in mathematical biology and taught statistics as faculty at Georgia Tech.
