This is Volume 2 of a two-volume reference for plastic surgeons. It presents detailed procedures for flaps used to reconstruct anatomical defects in the upper extremities, torso, pelvis, and lower extremities. Procedures are grouped by anatomical regions: thumb and finger, hand, web space, forearm, elbow, arm, breast, chest wall and trunk, abdominal wall and pelvic region, and leg, knee, foot, and ankle. This fourth edition is in color for the first time. The art program offers color and b&w clinical photos, surgical photos, and drawings; b&w drawings from the previous edition have been colorized or redrawn. This edition reflects current understanding of the anatomy and physiology of flaps, highlighting the use of perforator flaps used in all areas of the body, as well as new neurotized and composite flaps.
