Jose Zapata Calderon is emeritus professor in sociology and Chican@/Latin@ Studies at Pitzer College. Over a lifetime of community-based work and study, his publications have included numerous articles, studies, and an edited book Race, Poverty, and Social Justice: Multidisciplinary Perspectives through Service Learning.
