Regius Professor of Greek at Oxford University since 2003, and Fellow of the British Academy, Christopher Pelling's publications include commentaries on Plutarch's Antony (Cambridge, 1998) and Philopoemen and Flamininus (in Italian, 1997). He has also written a commentary on Plutarch?'s Caesar (Oxford, 2011) and the Penguin translation (with the late Ian Scott-Kilvert) of nine Lives, as Rome in Crisis (2010).
