Author Edward A. Hagan presents readers with a personal account of his time in Vietnam as a military advisor from 1969 to 1970. The author focuses his account on his dealings with the South Vietnamese Regional and Popular Forces in the Mekong Delta, the group he was sent to advise, and the rampant corruption of both the South Vietnamese and United States Army, the black market, and the activities of the Viet Cong in the region. 作者簡介
Edward A. Hagan, the son of Irish immigrants, served as a U.S. Army intelligence officer in Vietnam. He is Connecticut State University Distinguished Professor of Writing at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury and is the author of numerous books and articles on war literature and on Irish literature. He lives in Brewster New York.
