英語詞彙入門(第2版)（簡體書）

“英語詞匯學習叢書”由美國知名的教材教輔圖書出版社Townsend Press出版，是美國大學生使用最為廣泛的擴大詞匯量的教學輔導圖書之一。正如本叢書的編者所指出的那樣，在美國一個學生的前途在某種程度上取決于他／她的詞匯量的大小。對于我國廣大的英語學習者來說，詞匯學習當然也是英語學習的一個重要方面。
本叢書共有6冊。每冊介紹240～300個在TOEFL、 GRE、SAT等考試中經常出現的單詞。本叢書的特點是提供地道的例句，讓單詞在多個語境中反復出現，通過例證、同義、反義、類比等關系來界定詞義，使學生自然而然習得單詞，與傳統的死記硬背方法有著極大的不同。此外，書中部分練習題的題型與TOEFL、 GRE、SAT等考試題型相似，對有志于出國留學的學生熟悉題型也有一定的幫助。
納代爾編著的《英語詞匯入門》（Vocabulary Basics）為本叢書的第一冊，適合我國高中階段和大學非英語專業初級階段的學生使用。也可以用作 TOEFL培訓初級階段的輔助教材。
