He is an internationally renowned lecturer, teacher, author and scientific researcher and he maintains a clinical practice in the hospital as well as private practice.

Watson is Professor of Biomaterials and Restorative Dentistry and Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at KCL Dental Institute/ Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospitals Foundation Trust, London, UK.
