作者簡介
Joseph Pred has been working in risk and emergency management since 1989 and has actively specialized in public safety with special events and temporary mass gatherings since 1993. In addition to owning and managing Mutual Aid Response Services (MARS) since 2000, Joseph founded Burning Man's Emergency Services Department in 1996 and had 18 years experience working in this unique environment until his retirement in November of 2013. He served as the Chief of Department and Risk Manager for the city's temporary 911 emergency response system, including fire fighting, EMS, communications, emergency dispatch, government relations, and safety. Additionally Joseph has also served as a Field Supervisor for American Medical Response ambulance service and as a Field Supervisor for AHSEM event management.
