商品簡介
Covering both theory and practice and offering tips for using a range of literary genres with all ages and abilities, German and Austrian contributors offer a detailed introduction to literature learning in EFL contexts. Part 1 overviews the theory and practice of literature teaching and learning and looks at the importance of teaching intercultural competence. In later sections on literature learning at primary, intermediate, and higher levels, classroom techniques are described for performing poems, transcultural learning and postcolonial literature, and teaching young adult dystopian novels. The book’s final section discusses emerging approaches such as teaching multimodal novels, using autographics in the EFL classroom, and video games in educational contexts.
