The reader will gain insight into new and innovative approaches to Management Development, plus an evaluation of some more traditional ones. The reader will understand what will provide good return on investment for a business spending time and money on management development. Each chapter discusses a unique piece of research and provides enough methodological detail to provide confidence in the results presented and conclusions reached. Patricia Hind is Director of the Centre for Research in Executive Development at Ashridge Business School in the UK and is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Stellenbosch. She speaks regularly at conferences and has published widely on a number of aspects of management development. She is a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of the Academy of Management.
