商品簡介
Feldman places the Dead Sea Scrolls rewriting of Samuel and Kings in the context of their rewriting of other books of the Hebrew Bible. He surveys Second Temple texts concerned with Samuel-Kings then analyzes the scrolls 4Q160, 4Q382, 4Q481a, and 6Q9. Each chapter offers a revised text of the manuscript, a commentary, and where applicable a discussion of wider issues posed by the scroll. Utilizing insights he gained from examining all four scrolls, he concludes by outlining the contribution of the Dead Sea Scrolls rewriting Samuel-Kings to the study of the transmission and interpretation of these biblical books in Second Temple Judaism.
