The Other Languages of Europe ― Demographic, Sociolinguistic and Educational Perspectives

In addition to languages that are native to the region where they are spoken Basque, Welsh, Frisian, Swedish in Finland, and others immigrant languages in Europe are also considered, mostly by country, but also some specific languages with as Maghrebine Arabic in France, and Romani everywhere. Then as comparison, seven additional essays look at minority languages in several English speaking countries outside of Europe, at Turkey, and at Berber and Arabic in Morocco.
