The brothers, Jacob and William Grimm, are famous in the English-speaking world for their collection generally known as ‘Grimm’s Fairy Tales’, a gathering of over 200 tales and children’s legends as popular today as when they first appeared in 1812 in their native state of Hesse in Germany.
ILLUSTRATOR
Jonas Lauströer was born in Hamburg in 1979. He studied at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, with a focus on illustration, and now lectures in 3D animation. He is the illustrator of The Old Shepherd and Reynard the Fox.
