商品簡介
Covering aspects from basic technologies and techniques to advanced applications, DeSa, who has been involved in the field of process instrumentation and control since 1958, provides an introduction to complex or large control systems, both as an intermediate tutorial and a high-level primer. Processes covered include paper pulp making, the paper machine, product evaporation, petroleum distillation, product blending, and brewing. Examples show how basic simpler elements and techniques can be coordinated and expanded into more complex control systems. An introduction to the discipline of project management is also given. The book is suitable for upper-level undergraduates and graduate students in mechanical engineering and process control, and for practitioners and engineers in related industries or applications.
