作者簡介
Joseph Conlon is a leading young string theorist. He obtained a mathematics degree at age 18 before proceeding to Cambridge for undergraduate and Ph.D. physics degrees, where he graduated top of his year. He joined the Oxford faculty in 2008 at the age of 27 and is a member of the theoretical physics department. He is the author of approximately fifty research papers and has obtained many prestigious fellowships and grants. He is the senior author of the outreach website WhyStringTheory.com which has, so far, attracted 36,000 unique visitors. Outside of physics, he enjoys marathon running and playing with his children.
