The Domestic Politics of Global Climate Change ― Key Actors in International Climate Cooperation

Editors Bang, Underdal, and Andresen pull together contributions from experts in international relations and comparative politics to investigate climate policy and future policy changes in several key nations and regions. The authors use a common conceptual framework to analyze climate policy in the United States, Brazil, China, the EU, Russia, Japan, and India, finding that within the material parameters dictated by available energy and investments in infrastructure, most governments are doing more to mitigate climate change than their constituents are demanding.
