Feathers fell like rain from the sky.

Ode was never meant to be born. An outcast from birth, he discovered how to control his unique, remarkable gift entirely on his own. Unlike the other people of his tribe, Ode can fly. Rose Mannering is an English writer and international author of picture books and young adult fiction. Although diagnosed with dyslexia at just eight years old, Mannering has been writing as long as she can remember. She signed with the literary agency Creative Authors when she was eighteen and secured her first UK publishing deal when she was nineteen. Mannering is currently studying English at the Royal Holloway, University of London, and resides in Kent, England.
