In this book, editors Wilkinson, Townsend, and Suder present readers with a collection of academic essays and scholarly articles focused on the contemporary and emerging methods, tactics, and techniques employed by a variety of organizations in the management of their managers. The editors have organized the eighteen contributions that make up the main body of the text in three parts devoted to processes available to managers within organizational boundaries, topics cutting across the roles of managers, and contemporary issues and new directions in managing managers.
