In this volume, from a series presenting research from the rich site of Abusir, the results of excavations are described which were carried out at the unfinished pyramid of Raneferef by the Institute of Egyptology of Charles U. in Prague from 1980-2001. Consisting of reports on the separate parts of the pyramid, early temple, expanded temple, slaughterhouse, and the mudbrick masonry, the volume includes separate sections on the archaeology and the finds, with chapters devoted to questions of chronology and structure.
