Martien E. Brinkman, Ph.D. (1979), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, is emeritus Professor of Ecumenical/Intercultural Theology. He has published several monographs, includingProgress in Unity? (Peeters/Eerdmans, 1995), The Tragedy of Human Freedom (Rodopi, 2003) andThe Non-Western Jesus (Equinox 2009).
