Jayne J. Jones Beehler proudly wears many "helmets," including college professor, lawyer, author, wife, mother, advocate for children with disabilities, and lifelong fan of student athletics. A graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, this former live-in nanny is passionate about children, education, foster care and adoption, and child abuse/prevention public policy. Jones Beehler worked for US Senator Norm Coleman from 2002-2006, then headed to the MN House of Representatives, as Executive Assistant to Speaker of the House, Steve Sviggum.Jones Beehler teaches political science classes at Concordia University--St. Paul. Her students have gained national attention and praise for legislative activities and involvement. Jones Beehler's work with Margaret's Missions ensures travelers with disabilities get access to see the world and enjoy life's greatest adventures! In 2013, she co-authored "Capitol Hell," an eleven-time national and international award-winning book of fiction.Katrina G. Dohm, raised in rural northwest Wisconsin, believes home is where you hang your skates/rollerblades and keep your paint and brushes! Dohm's love of hockey began in college at the University of North Dakota, where she graduated with a BFA in Visual Arts and a BS in Education.For the past twenty-two years, Dohm has dedicated herself to being an art teacher and all the ''extras'' that go with it. Her days are filled with hands-on activities and non-stop action, evidenced by her dust covered boots, paint splattered apron, and wedding ring plastered with clay. Dohm is a four-year breast cancer survivor and takes her late father's reasoning to tremendous heart. As they watched early Hurricane Katrina coverage together, he told his daughter, "This will be huge, because Katrina never does anything halfway" He was right on both counts. And true to his words, his daughter is ready to drop the puck and start a new adventure!
