商品簡介
The scale and frequency of archaeological work has increased, leading to conflicts related to financial costs, pressure to do the work efficiently and economically, and the need to maintain academic standards. Willems (archaeological resource management, Leiden University, The Netherlands) and van den Dries, an archaeology inspector with the Netherlands Inspectorate for Cultural Heritage, gather specialists from the US, Canada, and several European countries to describe principles, priorities, and approaches for quality control in archaeological resource management. Most of the material originated at a September 2005 annual meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists, held in Cork, Ireland, and at the November 2005 meeting of the Europae Archaeologiae Consilium, held in Rosas, Spain. There is no subject index. The book is distributed in North America by The David Brown Book Company. Annotation c2008 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
