Delay Differential Evolutions Subjected to Nonlocal Initial Conditions

This proposed research monograph is, uniquely, devoted to a systematic presentation of several very recent results (and some of them appearing for the first time) referring to differential equations and inclusions subjected to nonlocal implicit initial conditions. The major themes of the book consist of a systematic study of the existence, regularity and continuous dependence on the data. The main abstract results are accompanied by illuminating examples describing the evolution of various phenomena; this points out the degree of generality of the developed theory and second, clarifes why the study of these rather abstract problems is needed in applications.

Monica-Dana Burlica is an Associate Professor in the department of Mathematics and Informatics at G. Asachi Technical University, Romania. She recently recieved the Dimitrie Pompeiu Special Award in the Journal of Mathematics and its Applications, from the Academy of Romanian Scientists. Mihai Necula is an Associate Professor in the department of Mathematics at Al. I. Cuza University, Romania. His main interests lie in the behavior of solutions to ordinary differential equations, viability of graphs for differential equations and inclusions and, viability and invariance for differential inclusions with memory. Daniela Rosu is an Associate Professor in the department of Mathematics and Informatics at G. Asachi Technical University, Romania. Her main area of interest is Differential Equations in Banach Spaces, Reaction-diffusion Systems and Nonlinear Analysis. Ioan Vrabie is a Professor in the department of Mathematics at Al. I . Cuza University, Romania. His main area of interest is Nonlinear Analysis with Applications to Differential Equations in Banach Spaces. He is the (joint) author of 76 scientific articles, 8 monographs, 2 textbooks and is the (joint) editor of 2 volumes.
