Mountain Woman Rides Again

The saga of Kate McAlaster Manchester continues with another adventure in the great Northwest, in a time when mountain men roam the peaks and valleys. Renegade Indians are still a threat to the settlers finding homesteads following their perilous journey on the Oregon Trail.Kate and Man are thrown into a situation where they must put an end to Bull Blevins and his gang of cutthroat murderers. They have to depend on their brains, skills, and the pair of Walker Colt pistols on each of their hips. However, they are sidetracked by Chief United States Marshall Joe Meek of the Oregon Territory when the mine wars erupt at Coeur d’Alene. They are ordered to stand between the gunmen hired by the Mine Owners Association and the deadly rifles of the Western Federation of Miners.
