Gus Goes to School

Gus's big sisters are far too busy nowadays to worry about what he gets up to stuck at home. They'd never guess that he has a school of his very own.

Kate Petty lectured on writing and editing for Middlesex University. She was the commissioning editor for Cornwall's bio-diversity attraction, the Eden Project. She was a well-known and respected writer of non-fiction and educational books, writing for publishers such as Orion, Macmillan and Random House. She was the author of the Around the World series with Oxfam published by Frances Lincoln. Sadly, she died in 2007.Maribel Suarez has enjoyed drawing ever since she was little. She studied Industrial Design at UNAM in Mexico and received a Master's Degree in Design Research from the Royal College in London. She has been illustrating children's books since 1985. She's had more than sixty books published in Mexico, the United States, and Spain.
