This book offers an essential overview of screen-printing. To those skilled in the art, screen-printing allows novel and useful electrochemical architectures to be mass produced, offering fabrication processes that are cost-effective yet highly reproducible and yield significant electrical benefits. 

However, there is no readily available textbook that actually equips readers to set about the task of screen-printing, explaining its techniques and implementation. Addressing that gap, this book will be of interest to both academics and industrialists delving into screen-printing for the first time. It offers an essential resource for those readers who want learn to successfully design, fabricate and implement (and mass-produce) electrochemical based architectures, as well as those who already have a basic understanding of the process and want to advance their technical knowledge and skills.

作者簡介

260 papers (h = 42); also 4 books, 14 book chapters and is the inventor of 17 patent families. Craig has spun out 2 companies from his research. He was awarded the RSC Harrison–Meldola Memorial Prize (2011) for his ‘contributions to the understanding of carbon materials, in particular graphene and its application as an electrode material’. Craig is also an Associate Editor of the RSC journal “Analytical Methods” and Honorary Professor at Xiangtan (????) University. His interests lie in the pursuit of studying the fundamental understanding and applications of nano-electrochemical systems such as graphene, carbon nanotube and nanoparticle derived sensors and developing novel electrochemical sensors via screen-printing and related techniques. Additionally his research pursues energy storage in the form of graphene based supercapactiors and li and na ion batteries and graphene engineering.

Dr Rashid O. Kadara is an electro-analytical chemist by training and specialises in electrochemical sensor development using screen-printing technology. He has been with Oxtox Ltd since 2007 working on electrode design, ink formulation and industrial screen-printing for the mass production of electrochemical derived sensors. Prior to joining Oxtox Ltd, he was a Researcher at Cranfield University and later, University of Bedfordshire. He has also been a Visiting Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University where he worked in Dr Banks Group. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers, edited 2 books and is an inventor of 1 patent.

Dr Jonathan P. Metters is a Post-doctoral research assistant at Manchester Metropolitan University and has published over 30 papers. He has 8 book chapters and is an inventor of 4 patents. His current research is directed towards the development novel electrochemical sensors via screen printing and related techniques
