商品簡介
Simour profiles the experimental music group Nass el-Ghiwane and one of its founders, Larbi Batma, which began in Casablanca during the 1970s, combining traditional Moroccan music with modern musical genres to articulate social and political concerns such as corruption, discrimination, humiliation, frustration, and contempt in the post-independence era. Their music has revolutionized postcolonial Moroccan and North African music, he says, and left an indelible mark on the country's cultural landscape.
