We Are Still Tornadoes

It’s the summer of 1982 and for best friends Scott and Cath, everything is about to change. Heading off to college, Cath suddenly finds herself in a world of weird roommates, frat parties, exams and the struggles of being away from home for the first time. While Scott, who’s stayed in their hometown, faces his own growing pains while he figures out what he wants to do with his life and pursues his music dreams. Through it all, at least they have the letters they write each other every week, especially as life gets more complicated. Friends forever, Scott and Cath start to realize that maybe friends is not all they are to each other…but can they make a relationship work off the page and in real life?

Michael Kun practices law in Los Angeles, California, where he lives with his wife Amy and their daughter. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, where he studied fiction writing, and the University of Virginia School of Law.

We Are Still Tornadoes is Susan Mullen’s first novel and first collaboration with Michael. She is a graduate of Duke University, where she studied English literature, and the University of Virginia School of Law. She practices law and lives in Northern Virginia. Sue has been married to her law school classmate Kevin Mullen for 25 years, and they have two daughters.
