Dr Alexia Nalewaik is a chartered quantity surveyor and certified cost engineer with over 20 years of project management experience in audit projects for compliance. She has worked in many industrial contexts including: manufacturing (petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage), healthcare, gaming, and higher education. She is the Owner of QS Requin Corporation, which provides independent project monitoring, audit, cost management, risk assessment, contract compliance, and claims services for complex capital mega-programs. Alexia is Chair of the International Cost Engineering Council, Governing Board Member of RICS Americas, and Inter-Organization Chair for AACE International. She is a Fellow of all three professional organizations, and also holds several specialty certifications (MRICS, certified cost professional CCP, and certified construction auditor CCA). Dr Anthony Mills is Professor of Construction Management and Head of School at Deakin University. He is a quantity surveyor, and is currently Vice President of the AIQS. Dr Mills has published over 100 referred papers in international journals and conferences, and is a member of local and international Boards, including the Australian Council of Deans of the Built Environment. He is a founding member of the Australian National Construction Forecasting Committee. Professor Mills is a world expert on construction procurement.
