Dr A?adaoin O'Brien is a Lecturer in Human Rights at the Human Rights Centre in the University of Essex and a member of the Essex Transitional Justice Network. Prior to her appointment at the University of Essex, Eadaoin was a Graduate Fellow with the Human Rights Consortium in the School of Advanced Study, University of London. A?adaoin is a former Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholar and a former Doctoral Fellow at the Irish Centre for Human Rights, National University of Ireland Galway. A?adaoin holds a PhD in Human Rights Law (NUI Galway), MSc in Human Identification (University of Dundee), LLM in International Human Rights Law (NUI Galway) and a BA in Anthropology and Sociology (NUI Maynooth).
