Clare Novak, author of EBIT-Duh! Finance for the HR Professional, has more than 20 years’ experience in performance improvement. She presented at ASTD ICE three times on the topics of finance and business metrics and has authored two prior Infolines. Novak presented “EBIT-Duh!?” at the 2011 SHRM National Conference and for numerous state and regional conferences.
In addition to her work in metrics, Novak has significant international experience in leadership development. She has worked in Canada, Egypt, Kuwait, Pakistan, and Ukraine. Novak and Associates, founded in 1994, has significant experience in assessing organizational needs and facilitating the most effective interventions in leadership performance and training goals. Novak has significant customer service training experience, having worked for over four years with a major medical diagnostic corporation on frontline patient service
