商品簡介
While researching actual aggression between residents of nursing facilities, Bonifas discovered lesser forms of negative behavior among residents that resembled bullying in children. Here she offers advice to care providers and seniors themselves on how to recognize such behavior, and--with help from fellow social workers--on how to minimize it effectively. She covers an overview, general interventions to address bullying, and creating caring communities. Among the topics are understanding older people who bully and those who are bullied, a framework for anti-bullying interventions, foundational approaches, empathy training: the Different Like Me culture, social wellness initiatives, and policy implications.
