Genome Editing

Kursad Turksen, PhD, is the editor-in-chief for Springer’s journal Stem Cell Reviews and Reports, is an executive board member for Springer Protocols, and is the editor of Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine series. Dr. Turksen received his PhD at University of Toronto (Dr. Jane Aubin) and did his postdoctoral studies at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, University of Chicago (Dr. Elaine Fuchs). He was Senior Scientist at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute in Ottawa until his retirement recently. His main interest was understanding epidermal lineage and inter-follicular stem cells.
