Neuroendocrine Tumors ― Review of Pathology, Molecular and Therapeutic Advances

A Case Based Review brings together the diagnostic and clinical expertise of an outstanding team of practicing neuroendocrine pathologists and oncologists. Dr. Domenico Coppola is a Professor of Pathology and Tumor Biology at the Moffitt Cancer Center Research Institute and a member of the Department of Oncological Sciences at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Dr. Coppola’s areas of expertise are Gastrointestinal Oncology, Neuroendocrine Tumors, and Molecular Pathology. He has published over two hundred and fifty articles in peer reviewed journals and two books in the area of Molecular Pathology. Dr. Coppola is a member of the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society and a senior member of the Gastrointestinal Oncology and Neuroendocrine Programs at the Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Coppola has extensive experience in tumor diagnosis, tissue procurement, and micro-genomics. He is the Editor of Cancer Cell International and an Associate Editor for PLOS one.
