Borries Kuzmany, joint PhD (2008) from the University of Vienna and the University of Paris-Sorbonne in East European History and German Literature, is a researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. His monographs and articles focus on urban and Jewish history as well as on the history of nationalism, borders, and languages in Central and Eastern Europe.
