At its core, "The Hunt" is about the power of creativity and endurance over the forces of destruction. A young girl builds and rebuilds a sculpture out of rocks she finds strewn around as two hunters repeatedly shoot her creation to bits. The girl perseveres, though, and what she creates becomes a testament to the creative spirit and a condemnation of violence.
作者簡介
Margaux Othats is a French author-illustrator born in 1989. In 2008, she entered the Strasborg School of Decorative Arts, from which she graduated in 2013. Editions Magnani published her first book, "La Chasse," in September 2014. It was shortlisted the same year for The Picture Book Prize at the Montreuil Children's Book Fair. Her second book, "Un Jour Dehors" was published again with Editions Magnani, in April 2016. Her illustrations have also appeared in various magazines and journals, including "Nyctalope," "XXI," and "The New York Times." AUTHOR HOME: Lyons, France
