A thriller about a group of extremely wealthy businesspeople who form a hunting club in which the prey is humans, in this case, two hikers in the mountains of Norway, who are selected and made to flee by former special forces soldiers in the Danish army. The protagonists are a brash, independent police investigator, who is the single mother of a grown daughter, and her male counterpart, a private investigator with military training who, like her, is a loner by preference. Now the two have to team up to overcome an opponent who outstrips them in resources and lethal danger.
