Catalogue of the Babylonian Tablets in the British Museum

Sigrist (École Biblique, Jerusalem), R. Zadock (Mesopotamian, Iranian, and Judaic studies, Tel Aviv U.), and C. B. F. Walker, a former deputy keeping of the Department of the Ancient Near East at the British Museum, continue the catalogue designed to describe all those tablets in the Museum that are designated Babylonian, which includes all inscriptions in the collection other than Assyrian. Those contained in this volume come from major archives of the Ur III period and smaller archives of the Old Babylonian, Nuzi, and Neo-Babylonian periods.
