Sharon Coatney is a retired school librarian from Kansas and a senior acquisitions editor at Libraries Unlimited. She is coeditor with Violet Harada of Libraries Unlimited's Inquiry and the Common Core: Librarians and Teachers Designing Teaching for Learning.Violet H. Harada is professor emeritus at the University of Hawaii. For the past 20 years, she has coordinated the school library specialization for the Library and Information Science Program.
