The Bermuda Privateer

It’s 1796. Nicholas Fallon is captain of the schooner Sea Dog, a privateer that is fast, beautiful and deadly. Together with his best friend and first mate, Beauty McFarland, Fallon sails the Caribbean on a mission to take or destroy Britain’s enemies. When Sea Dog’s owner, Ezra Somers, asks Fallon to seek out and destroy Wicked Jak Clayton—a pirate who has been preying on his ships—Fallon agrees. 

 

Somers offers him a share in the salt business, but Fallon has another motive. Ezra’s daughter, Elinore, is Fallon’s lover. If he can stop Clayton, Fallon can ensure Elinore’s inheritance is secure. But the seas are treacherous, and the Sea Dog faces many enemies: French warships, Spanish treasure ships, and an incompetent British Navy captain. When a violent hurricane threatens to destroy them all, Fallon learns the true meaning of courage, sacrifice, and friendship.

William Westbrook began his career as an advertising copywriter and rose through the ranks to lead one of the most creative advertising agencies in the world, winning clients such as BMW, United Airlines, and Miller Lite. He's written for sailing magazines, art books and has also published a children's book. The Bermuda Privateer is his first novel and the first in the Nicholas Fallon series.
