This book presents the author’s recent and original work on intelligent comparisons, especially focusing on operator inequalities and approximations. As a complementary companion piece to the recently published book by the same author, titled: “Intelligent Comparisons: Analytic Inequalities”, Studies in Computational Intelligence Volume 609, it addresses self-adjoint operators, well-known inequalities and approximation theory of Korovkin type in a Hilbert space environment.
The concise book is the first to study these topics. Composed of self-contained chapters that can be read independently, it is suitable for use in related graduate classes and research projects. Further, each chapter includes an extensive list of references for further research.>
