Spatio-Temporal Analysis and Optimization of Land Use/Cover Change

This book will firstly help readers establish the research parameters of land use change and then provide a set of statistical models to effectively process land use change data. Analysis of the results derived from this processing will aid urban planners and policy makers to effectively understand land use change in a spatial and temporal framework, make more precise land use projections, and hence facilitate the generation of systematic plans.

Dr. Biao Liu is a Senior Engineer at the Center for Assessment and Development of Real Estate, Shenzhen, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Geoinformation Science (2007-2010) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, and M.S. in Econometrics (2005-2007), from Wuhan University, Hubei, China and a B.S. in Statistics (2001-2005) from Xiangtan University, Hunan, China. He has numerous publications to his name and serves as member of a number of associations.
