Dr. Tonya M. Peterson is a Senior Manager within the technology industry with over 20 years of experience. Her areas of expertise encompasses PMO operations, portfolio, program, and project management, continuous improvement, quality direction, productivity metrics, instruction, and organizational efficiency. She is proficient in capacity planning, methodology, resource management, technical guidance, strategic planning, and outsourcing. She is a PMP, PfMP, LSSBB, and CSM. She has shared her experience and knowledge through consulting opportunities and as an Adjunct Professor. She presents regularly at PMI conferences and provides mentoring within the areas of leadership, process improvement, business direction, and project, program, and portfolio management. She is a recent award recipient of PMI’s Student Paper of the Year. She has managed projects, programs, and portfolios of various sizes and complexities within the public and private sectors. Dr. Peterson received her doctorate in Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.
