Dr. Maryann Gromoll is an Assistant Professor for Exceptional Student Education and Elementary Education at Daytona State College. She has taught exceptional student education in grades K-12 in both public and private schools for over 30 years. She was also an Exceptional Education Teacher/Behavior Specialist in the Orange County School District, Orlando FL. She is an active member of Teachers without Borders and leads student groups to where there is the most need. Dr. Gromoll lives in Oceee, FL with her husband Kim. She has two children, Michael and Nik. Michael is a recent Florida State University graduate and Nik is a University of Central Florida alum.
