Alex Cox (Oregon, USA) Alexander Cox is a British film director, screenwriter, nonfiction author, He is an actor and director, known for Repo Man (1984), Sid and Nancy (1986) and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998). He also co-wrote and directed Straight to Hell (1986), starring Courtney Love, Joe Strummer and members of the Pogues, which was filmed at an old western movie set in Almeria, Spain. Other potential contributors include: Alex de la Iglesia (Madrid, Spain) One of Spain’s most popular film directors, as well as a screenwriter and producer. His film 800 Balas was filmed on location in Almeria, Spain, and tells the story of a group of stuntmen left over from the days of the spaghetti westerns made there.
