Dr. Frank Hartmann is member of the detector group at the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) at the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) at CERN. He is heading the CMS Tracker project since seven years in the capacity of project manager or deputy project manager. He teaches physics and detector science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
