About the Author: Catherine A. Haala was born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, where she grew up on a small family farm. Now living in New York City, she says, “I’m a city girl, with the country still in me!” As founder and president of The World is Our Neighborhood (TWION.org), Catherine has had the pleasure and privilege to work with children from around the world. In doing so, she realizes the importance of building early childhood self-esteem and self-love. With her book I Love Me, she intends to do just that! About the Illustrator: Jacqueline Rodriguez was born in Queens, New York. She began to dabble in many medias, and further developed her skills when she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) as an illustration major. Jacqueline began to experiment, and learned about the market and how to appeal to her audience. She then revisited an earlier piece of hers, and it snowballed into a set of fun and charismatic characters.
