作者簡介
Brian Ellis graduated from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, in electronic engineering. His career took him to Switzerland, where he promoted worldwide cleaning of electronic assemblies in water, instead of polluting solvents. He was commissioned by the Swiss Federal Office of the Environment to the UNEP Technical and Economics Assessment Panel on Ozone Depletion and subsequently to the UNEP Multilateral Fund to assess third world countries. Darrel Staley has served as an environmental engineer for many years, promoting more sustainable solutions to technologically complex challenges. He spent years helping to document, invent and implement alternatives to ozone depleting substances. In 2002, Darrel was awarded the US EPA Stratospheric Ozone award as an acknowledgment of these efforts.
