F. Ralph Berberich, MD is an established board certified pediatrician in Berkeley, California, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has over 40 years’ experience spanning academic medicine, private practice and a large multi-specialty group. Dr. Berberich is a certified consultant in medical hypnosis. He also is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in hematology-oncology, a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain having a particular interest in the treatment of needle phobia. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and authored two books, one of which recounts his own experiences as a patient confronting a malignancy.
