Lavon Gray is an associate professor at Liberty University where he has also served as an associate dean for the School of Music, chairman of the Worship Studies Department, and led the Center for Music and Worship, which is the largest worship training program in the world. Coauthor of the award-winning Hungry for Worship, Lavon led a 350-voice sanctuary choir in worship at the historic First Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. He and his wife, Wendy, have three daughters and two sons-in-law. They live in Madison, Mississippi, with their youngest daughter, Katibeth.
